For Existing Clients Only

A company is a start.
Permanence begins with a residence permit.

If you want to build a long-term structure with your company in Georgia, our team also handles your residence and work permit process. This service has become even more critical after the 2026 changes.

2026 Update

As of March 1, 2026, Georgia introduced a mandatory work-authorisation regime for the first time. Visa-free entry still applies, but it is visitor status and does not on its own grant the right to work. If you have long-term plans, the right permit structure is now essential.

What Changed in 2026?

3 fundamental changes you need to know.

Since early 2026, Georgia has fundamentally updated its regulations for foreigners. We've prepared a simple summary for you.

January 1, 2026

Mandatory Health Insurance

Health insurance is now mandatory for all foreigners entering Georgia. Entry and stay without insurance are not permitted.

March 1, 2026

New Work Permit System

Georgia introduced a mandatory work-authorisation regime for the first time. A "Right to Work" permit is now required to work, do business, or provide services. The penalty for working without a permit starts at 2,000 GEL per person.

April 2026

Improvement for Individual Entrepreneurs

Freelancers and remote workers serving clients abroad have been exempted from the new permit requirement. The previous 50,000 GEL turnover requirement has been removed.

Scope of Service

We manage the process.

We handle the entire operation, from application to renewal. Your only responsibilities are to sign documents and visit the office when necessary.

Step 1

Application Strategy

We determine the most suitable residence permit category for your situation. We calculate whether an Individual Entrepreneur, IT permit, or investment-based route is the fastest and most robust option for you.

Step 2

Document Preparation

We prepare all necessary documents (apostille, translation, financial records, insurance) on your behalf. We provide a checklist to guide you for documents to be collected in Turkey.

Step 3

Official Application and Follow-up

We personally handle the application in Georgia. We monitor the process daily and respond to requests for missing information within 48 hours.

Step 4

Renewal and Continuity

We automatically notify you 60 days before your residence permit expires. We manage the renewal process to ensure there are no interruptions.

The Unseen Advantage

Your residence permit is also a form of financial citizenship.

A residence permit establishes your profile as a “resident client” with local banks. Your monthly transaction history, credit score, and client seniority accumulate. The result: credit products unavailable to tourists become accessible to you.

Mortgage Loan

You can apply for a mortgage when buying an apartment or house in Georgia; a resident client profile makes the application easier. For foreign nationals the down payment is typically 30–40%. Terms run up to 20 years for GEL loans and up to 10 years for foreign-currency loans when your income is in a different currency.

Car Loan

With an active account and a regular income stream, you can access car loan terms much faster. New or used, in USD or GEL—the options are yours.

Premium Card Limits

Your local credit card limits start significantly higher than those for employee/visitor profiles. As your corporate spending profile grows, so does your personal limit.

Investment & Deposit Advantages

With resident client status, you gain access to USD/EUR deposit accounts, investment products, and lower transfer fees.

Mortgage Loan · Interest Rate Comparison

Instead of paying monthly rent, own your home instead.

In Turkey, mortgages are quoted at 2.8–3.3% per month; the legally disclosed annual cost rate exceeds 40%. In Georgia, GEL-denominated loans run at 12–16% effective annually. A foreign-currency loan is only possible if your income is in that currency, or if the loan exceeds GEL 1,000,000 — conditions explained below.

Installment Instead of Rent

You can own a home while paying much as you would in rent. How the installment compares to rent depends on the down payment, term, rate and property price.

Ownership, Not Rent

Each payment isn't lost like rent; the apartment becomes yours, and your equity builds.

Your Own Property

What you pay builds equity in your own property rather than disappearing as rent. Property prices are not guaranteed to rise.

* Rate ranges vary by market, bank and client profile; nominal and effective rates differ. Under National Bank of Georgia regulation, borrowers without income in the loan currency ("unhedged") cannot take a foreign-currency loan below GEL 1,000,000 as of 1 July 2026; such loans are issued in GEL instead. Borrowers with EUR or USD income fall outside this limit. For foreign nationals the down payment is typically 30–40%; terms run up to 20 years for GEL loans and up to 10 years for foreign-currency loans with mismatched income. Consult the bank for a current offer and eligibility.

Client Profile Process

The formula: Company + Residence Permit + Active Account elevates you to “senior resident client” status at a local bank. This profile unlocks access to mortgage, car, and investment loans that are never available to tourists.
